Going paperless is straightforward when you prepare the right documents and understand the DP flow. Here’s how to finish onboarding without friction.
- Choose a DP: Consider brokerage integration, service quality, and charges.
- Complete KYC: Upload PAN, Aadhaar/passport, address proof, bank proof, and photos.
- Sign digitally: eSign agreements, provide nominee details, and finish IPV through video or OTP.
- Activate & link: Receive BO ID, link trading/bank accounts, and start transacting.
Documentation tips
- Keep original proofs handy for video verification.
- NRIs need FEMA declarations plus overseas address proof.
- Corporate applicants attach board resolutions & authorised signatory lists.
- Track activation emails/SMS for BO ID confirmation.
